In today's society we are bombarded by violence and the horrors people inflict onto one another. Don't believe me? Watch the news, pick up a newspaper, talk to your neighbor, your brother, your sister, your best friend, step outside your bubble for a minute. Then crawl back inside because it's scary out there.
But once in a while, stories will come along about ordinary people doing good things for others, saving lives and spreading smiles. Below, is a short clip video. I dare you not to smile while you watch. It's a nice reminder that this world is not full of a**holes. It's not about the brand name that put it together, it's about people, good people.
But I have to admit, Coca Cola really does know how to advertise.
I love the commercial. Yes coke does know how to advertise. So does McDonalds.
ReplyDeleteAh, such a fun and catchy tune to accompany the advert. Coca Cola is definitely the King when it comes to adverts!
ReplyDeleteHoly! The crazy hero part freaked me out! Wow. I loved that!
ReplyDelete...definitely a keeper!

ReplyDeleteThat was awesome. Faith in humanity somewhat restored. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think back at the I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing commercial from the 70s. That was a classic Coke commercial too.
ReplyDeleteWay awesome ! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMichael: Yes, they sure do.
ReplyDeleteMichelle: I agree, the music is perfect. (:
Morgan: Me too! I think I held my breath a few times during that part!
Elliot: I think so too. (:
Richard: Indeed!
laughingwolf: Yes it is!
Treelight: My pleasure! (:
Clay: It sure does and it makes me a little less pessimistic about the world.
Stephen: I remember that commercial. It was a little before my time but it was so huge I remember watching it when I was younger. (:
Celine: You're welcome! Thought it was a nice way to start off the week. (:
Brilliant. One Christmas when my daughter was little she was very poorly and we were curled up on the sofa when the Coca Cola Christmas advert came on and she perked up. She enjoyed it so much we sent a letter to the company telling them how wonderful we thought their advert was. We were so impressed when such a large company replied sending her a letter and a couple of 'goodies' (pencils I think). She is now grown with her own family but always speaks about this particular advert.
ReplyDeleteSally: What a wonderful story! I would have never guessed Coca Cola would have taken the time to reply so nicely. (:
DeleteBonjourno!
ReplyDelete(My goal is to incorectly spell Helo to you in various langages....)
This is a great ad. I didn't even know the video camera companies were doing ads like this.
Great stuff... :)
C'mon France!

Aww, that's awesome. I smiled, I chuckled, and I even got choked up. I'm a sap when it comes to the "good guy". :) Thanks for sharing. I'll have to pass this along.
ReplyDeleteYes they do. Sometimes it's great other times extremely annoying.
ReplyDeleteHilary: Yes, the train bit did get to me too, as did the man tackling the other with the gun. And I agree, Coke does great ads.
ReplyDeleteJennifer: No problem, glad you liked it! (And I can be quite the "sap" too)
Mina: Haha, yes some are annoying as hell. (:
