I Spy: G

Welcome to I Spy...from A-Z!

The F post was so FUN! There were a bunch you all came up with that I hadn't thought of like factory, field, floorplan, freeway, Ford Festiva, federal building, furniture store.... Funny how we all see different things.

Anyway, I'm sorry I've been so bad at visiting blogs. I've got a 2 week vacation coming up that includes a lot of driving and flying time. That means I only have a few days to pack, plan, and watch my stress levels spike. That also means, my blogging hours are going to decrease rapidly. Think, the Titanic.

However, I'll do my best to visit when I can and I pray the prescheduling thing works for my posts....*cold sweat ensues* And I'll be sure to bring back some awesome pictures of my feet in the sand to share when I get back.

Ok, onto G which I think will be GREAT!  :P

For those of you joining us, this game of I Spy is about identifying words in the pictures beginning with the letter for the day. Some are pretty obvious, but we're trying to go beyond the obvious. So, I'm not limiting to just the names of things. Which means, if an image evokes a feeling, or mood that reminds you of yet another word that fits for the day, then let me know in the comments. Also, if you speak another language and find a word that fits, you can use it too! Just make sure to add the translation for the rest of us. (Thanks for the idea Jo. :) )

So now, without further ado.....

I spy with my little eye things that begin with the letter...

  1. Green hydrangea, Gloss, Grapevine, Grass, Garden

  2. I'm thinking this will make me quite the boring peep, but your first image totally said 'green' to me. ;)

  3. Ooh this is fun! But all I can think of with that first photo is hops.

  4. Green gnarled and gate come to mind - and I hope you're going somewhere as nice as I am. I can't wait to stick my toes in the sand!

    1. Ooo, gnarled is a good one too. And yes, hot sand in between my toes....I can't wait! Hope you have a great vacation. :)

  5. Is that last one an old grapevine.
Think Titanic - hilarious! Don't overstress, Elise.

  6. All I could think of Green and Gate -- Enjoy your vacation. Re-charge those emotional batteries. :-)

  7. I am totally going to guess on these. Green, Germany, and Ginger root?

  8. Hi Elise - Green Goji berries (I expect they're not right) .. 2nd one .. who knows?! Third one .. I was going to say Gorse .. but I see Grape and gate .. and Germany - too pink .. and yellow not bright enough - but I see it..

Cheers and have a lovely holiday .. Hilary

  9. Green, Globules, Graffiti, Grape vine, garden

  10. The first one has me stumped. Germany and grapevine for the other two. I miss you! XXOO. I'm going through your other posts now. This is fun.
