NaNo: Day 3

National Novel Writing Month

Daily Word Count: 1, 566
Total Word Count: 4, 874
Words remaining: 45, 126

Today, I brought out the heavy artillery: beer, and
BOOM! I got my word count back up. Not  really. I just wanted to write the word BOOM!

Can you believe some folks have written well over 13,000 words after only 3 days!? I personally think they're using witchcraft which has to be against the rules, right? But then again, what do I know.

Anyhow, I should probably stop comparing myself to others and just keep going nice and steady... *hiccup* this might be a problem.  ;)

  1. Keep at it - whatever it takes!
The first year I participated, one of my blogger buddies was averaging 12,000 words a day and hit her goal on day five. Yeah, makes you want to puke, doesn't it?

  10. Just keep going Elise. Witchcraft is totally against the rules. We need Professor McGonagall to referee.
