I am so, soooo tired guys. It's been really hard pulling out these #!?%§!! words. But I've realized what makes my story move along more quickly and how to get my word count up--dialogue. I seem to be struggling with description lately. But dialogue, man, I can write pages of it. Maybe I should write the rest of the book with just dialogue. I think I'll start off by saying,
"zzzz zzzz zzzzz zz zzzzzz zzz."
This is what I want to do right NOW. |

More dialogue, less description maybe? I suck at description as well.
ReplyDeleteA thousand words a day - keep going!
You can do it, sleep it overrated.:)
ReplyDeleteDialogue is more fun anyway, go with that
ReplyDeleteI'd be pretty psyched about a 1000 words a day right now.
ReplyDeleteI love dialogue! Go for it! ^_^
ReplyDeleteYou can do it Elise!
ReplyDeleteOnly 10 days left...hang in there!
By the way, I love the assortment of hats!
I always write tons of dialogue and then go back and add description later.
ReplyDeleteHang in there and good luck with NaNoWriMo...I'm not participating this year, and I miss it terribly.
Dialogue's always easier for me, too. And it's a first draft. You can just go with whatever works :).
ReplyDeleteThat is me all the way! I can write dialogue until the cows come home, but when it comes to the regular prose, I slow way down. I wish I were better at what makes up most of fiction, lol.
ReplyDeleteCheering for you. Words can be stubborn at time.
ReplyDeleteBonjour n'stuff, human, Elise,
ReplyDeleteOoh la la, I've been learning some Francais from a Francais Poodle! Arf and mon dieu!
Take it easy, human lady. Relax because I am the dialogue dog!
Au revoir,
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny! :)
