ReplyDeleteIndeed, Happy Fourth of July to you in France and to all our American friends, wherever they may be. May they also remember our precious animals who can get very scared of fireworks. Please, go to a controlled public display and don't go setting them off in the street.

ReplyDeleteHaha--thanks. We are strange and like our steaks well to medium-well so the overcooking thing is usually not an issue. As illustrated by your cartoon, we would rather watch the professionals launch the fireworks and go to sleep that night with all fingers and toes still in place.

ReplyDeleteWish you could have seen the fireworks show we had, Elise. I do believe it was the best one I've seen in person yet. And to think it was put on by a town with a population less than 30K.
