I think you need a bigger cup
ReplyDeleteAnd a bigger spoon, and a bigger monitor, and a bigger bank account.... about the only thing I don't need is a bigger ass, lol!
DeleteHa! I hear you. I've been trying to keep the exercise momentum going during NaNo, but it's been tough.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a tough, but hang in there!
DeleteWould you like a little tea with your sugar?
ReplyDeleteWell, apparently, just a dab. :D
DeleteHi ELise - good luck with both ... take care - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThanks Hilary! Cheers!
DeletePerfect comic. Best of luck with both. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks! :)
DeleteI'm not doing NaNo, but I have been trying to train myself to drink coffee black. Erg. I've given up the half-n-half, but desperately need a sweetener. I've been settling for a teaspoon of agave.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with both your goals!
I used to do agave in my cereal a few years ago, but that fizzled out. Drinking coffee black is awful. I can't do it. Good luck with everything!
DeleteSuch discipline must be rewarded. Stay the course!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying, I'm trying!!!!
DeleteHow's it going? Still dumping sugar on the table and not in the cup? Hope so. Here's to a wonderful Christmas and to one heck of a successful new year.
DeleteGood luck with NaNo. I try to go sugar free most days. I always check ingredients when I buy anything.
ReplyDeleteIt's tough because sugar is in everything it seems.
DeleteLol. I feel you. NaNoWriMo is intense. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Auden! :)
DeleteI think writing 50K words is way easier than cutting back on sugar...
ReplyDeleteLOL! I'm finding that out right now... as I crave chocolate and cookies and muffins, and.... and I live in France, the pastry capital of the world.... damn it.
DeleteI haven't used sugar since I was 11 years old. You really don't need it.
ReplyDeleteNo, you don't... I just wish it didn't taste so good! :)
DeleteI should do a sugar detox. But I'm not going to. I can quit anytime. It's not hurting anyone.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on Nano!
LOL! Thanks, Sara. Hugs!!
DeleteI agree with J E Oneill! I can do without sugar in my coffee but I can't do without my chocolate fix - the full milk, sugary kind :) Have fun with your writing!
ReplyDeleteNice, haha! I cannot give up sugar for anything. Coffee is not OK with substitutes.
ReplyDeleteI love sugar and cream in my coffee. I'll give up something else. Maybe. Good luck with Nano!
ReplyDeleteSugar is so addictive. If I can go a few days without it, I stop craving it. Then add a little and I'm looking like you with the coffee.
ReplyDeleteTried giving up sugar for 60 days as my wife wanted to do the 'I Quit Sugar' gig. We did it. It made a difference. But it hit back with a vengeance. I still want to ditch the itch, but take it one day at a time.
ReplyDeleteOdd fact, sugar is ten times more addictive than cocaine. Not sure how cocaine would make your coffee taste though? Buzzing, maybe?
Hit that NaNo beast with all your might, brave lady. You can do it! YARRR!
Hope you are well and pounding that keyboard of yours :)
DeleteYes, that was me, too!!! Except, I used honey . . .
ReplyDeleteHappy writing!
